Unaccompanied minor service: IMPORTANT INFORMATION Unaccompanied Minor Service (UM) Make sure you check with your airline before you buy your ticket whether your child requires a UM service booked. Some airlines allow a child under the age of 18 to fly alone, and the rules and restrictions for what they call ‘unaccompanied children’ are different for each airline. If you need the UM Service provided by ACCORD ISS this must be booked along with the transfer. The UM Service is not included in the transfer price. When the UM Service is booked with ACCORD ISS your child will be met on arrival in the UK by a designated staff member who will accompany him or her to the campus you have chosen. On the day of departure, a member of ACCORD ISS will accompany your child until he board. So that you do no worry in case the flight is delayed or cancelled, our member of staff will stay in the boarding area for half an hour after the plane has taken off.
