Mount St Mary’s has excellent sports facilities which makes it the perfect destination this summer for all sports fanatics!

ACCORD ISS is exclusively partnered with the Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK which gives our students the opportunity to train like the Parisian club on the football and English residential programme. The school has superb facilities for football and all other sports including:

• 11 full size football pitches
• Swimming pool
• Well maintained sports fields
• Astro pitch 
• Gym
• Cardio Machines & Weights Room
• Tennis Courts 
• Athletics Centre
• Cricket nets 

Activities

For those students taking English lessons in the morning each afternoon they will join the football training with The Paris Saint-Germain Academy UK. The training programme is designed by PSG technical staff to follow the philosophy of the Parisian club and is delivered by UEFA coaches.

Each player will have the opportunity to develop their ball mastery, dribbling, passing, shooting and aerial skills as well as showcase their skills in matches. The Academy is open to all abilities and coaches work closely with each individual child to adapt the training to their level.

In the evenings, there may be further football training or specialised workshops including; nutrition, strength and conditioning, match analysis etc.

Each Friday students will have a  presentation of leavers certificates and all players will receive a report card from the coach so they can continue to develop their skills when they return home.

Excursions

Excursions,  take place on a Wednesday and Sunday.  Each excursion includes a visit to the stadium. Below are some examples of trips:

• Manchester City Stadium Tour followed by sightseeing of the city, and shopping in Market street
• Manchester United Stadium Tour followed by a guided walk through the city centre
• Liverpool Football Club Stadium Tour followed by sightseeing of the city centre including Albert Docks.

All excursions, including entrance fees and tickets, are included in the course fee. There are no additional costs.
